Nicholas C. Battafarano MD

On November 9, 2017, age 91, of Wayne, PA. Nicholas C. Battafarano, M.D. was born in Philadelphia and attended Overbrook HS, St. Joseph’s University and graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors from Drexel Hahnemann Medical School in 1949. He was a proud veteran of the Korean War. Dr. Battafarano practiced internal medicine and was affiliated with Paoli Memorial Hospital until age 87. He was selected innumerable times to the Best Doctors List by his peers and patients. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Margaret, and his children Kathleen, Daniel, Nicholas, Janet, Richard, and Thomas, 26 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday, Nov 15, 2017 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Alleva Funeral Home, Inc.,1724 E. Lancaster Ave, Paoli, PA, 19301 and Thursday, Nov. 16th from 10 to 11 A.M. at St. Monica Church, 63 Main Ave, Berwyn, PA 19312, followed by Funeral Mass, 11 A.M. Interment is at Calvary Cemetery in Conshohocken, PA.
