Pasquale Capetola

Pasquale Capetola, age 93, a former resident of Devon for over 50 years, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Amity Place in Douglasville, where he has been a resident since May of 2021.

He was born in Roccamontepiano, Italy and immigrated to the United States in 1966. Pasquale was the son of the late Antonio Capetola, the late Laura DiNardo and the late Genoveffa (D'Aristotile) Capetola, stepmother, the devoted and loving husband of the late Concetta (De Antonis) Capetola with whom he shared 65 years of marriage, the loving father of Beatrice Calabretta, Laura (Barry) Blechman and Antonella (Lee) Trythall, the cherished brother of Carmela Pantalone, Lidia Giurastante, the late Italo Capetola and the late Ernesto Capetola and the proud grandfather of Gianni Calabretta, Gina Calabretta, Teddy Calabretta, Stefanie Blechman, Lindsey Blechman, Max Trythall, Jenna Trythall and adoring Great-grandfather of Capri Calabretta.

Pasquale was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church, was educated in Italy and served in the Italian Army. He worked for Bishop Tube Company and Calvarese and Sons Construction. He enjoyed watching the Eagles play, tending to his garden, playing cards, making wine and the occasional trips to the casino.

A Celebration of Life and viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Alleva Funeral Home, 1274 East Lancaster Avenue, Paoli, PA 19301. Prayers & Blessing will be at 7:00 pm on Tuesday night during the viewing. Private Interment will be on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia.
