A long-time resident of Paoli, Patricia was born on May 31, 1938 in Chester, PA, to parents, Andrew and Lillie Laloup. She graduated from Conestoga HS in 1956. After marrying Patrick Rosato and spending more than a decade as a full-time wife, mother, and homemaker, Pat (as she was known to her friends) entered the workforce in the early 70’s. She worked as a secretary in the Conestoga HS and T.E. School district offices. While a divorce brought the challenges of being a single mom, she returned to night school at Ursinus College, earning a degree in accounting with honors by 1980, while simultaneously working in the bursar’s office at Haverford College, waitressing at Jimmy Duffy’s on the weekends, and raising two boys. During this period, she also married her 2nd husband, Ron Mizzou, and began her new career as the treasurer for West Goshen township. Pat was soon appointed Township Manager of West Goshen, a pioneering woman in that field, and even served a term as President of the Southeastern PA Municipal Manager’s Association. Patricia married Charles Guernsey in 1985, finding her true soulmate. Among many other things, they enjoyed golfing together, traveling the world, and spending time with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Patricia was preceded in death by her first son, Michael Andrew, and her husband, Charles, and also by her siblings, Andy, Alice, and Robert.
She is survived by her sons Richard Rosato and Matthew (Julie) Rosato, her grandchildren Amy (Dexter) Pascoe, Christopher (Amanda) Rosato, Nina Rosato and Evan Rosato, and her great-grandchildren Amelia Pascoe, Delaney Pascoe, and Harper Rosato
