Dear Barbara, read of Pat's passing in Alma Matters, so sorry for your loss.  He was such a wonderful person.  I have such wonderful memories of the two of you and your family on  Arlington Road.  Such happy times.

Hi, Barbara - It's Richard Jafolla--Jaffey--a voice from the past. Al Massey wrote and told me about your loss. I was so sorry to hear about it. Especially so since all of my memories of the past that include you are such happy ones. I still think of "the old days" and the old gang and it always brings a smile to my face.
 I live in Florida now so could not attend the funeral or viewing. But please know that if I were up there, I would have given you a loving hug and a sincere word of condolence. 
  Sorry our first encounter in many decades had to be prompted by such a sad occasion. Hopefully, if we meet again, we'll talk only of happier times.

Your dad was a wonderful man, he was always so kind and funny. I played basketball with him when I was a kid and I always thought he would make a good president. Pat set a good example and loved people. I remember your mom and dad jogging and all the great children they had. Pat will be sorely missed by me.
