Regina Claire (neé Setzer) Bosch, of Devon, Pa., died on Saturday March 12, 2016. Regina was smart, sharp, funny, and devoted to her family. She loved gardening, exploring her faith, and politics; she never turned off NPR. Perhaps her favorite thing in life—besides being a mother and grandmother, of course—was learning: She was a proud graduate of Cornell, where she met her late husband and the love of her life, Frederick Bosch. She also boasted an MBA from Wharton and a master’s in higher education from the University of Pennsylvania. Regina was the kind of woman who believed every family needs an official philosopher (her choice was Marcus Aurelius) and an official book (The Great Gatsby). She is survived by her three children, Nicholas, Torie, and Brian, and two granddaughters, Fiona and Neve. Relatives and friends celebrated her life on Friday, March 18, at the Alleva Funeral Home in Paoli. (She would have liked a party in her honor at John Harvard’s Brew House, the greatest restaurant in the world, but unfortunately she outlived it.) In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Industrial and Labor Relations Fund, in memory of Regina Bosch, at Cornell University, P.O. Box 25842, Lehigh Valley, PA 18003-9692.
