Robert D. Dembrosky

Robert D. Dembrosky “Bob,” of Berwyn, PA, passed away suddenly on April 9, 2024. Born on October 14, 1948, in Troy, NY, he was the son of the late Carl P. and Agnes Dembrosky and was preceded in death by his brother, Carl “Mickey” Dembrosky.

Bob was the loving husband to Susan (Cleary) Dembrosky for 51 years; the proud father of his two children, Lindsey Wisch (Howie) and Bryant Dembrosky (Heidi); and the cherished “Bob Pop” of his five adoring grandchildren: Caroline, Ellie and Henry Wisch and Kaitlyn and Meghan Dembrosky.

He grew up in Watervliet, NY, and graduated from Siena College. Bob went on to build a highly respected career in the dental industry, working for over 45 years with 3M’s dental division. He was not only known for his deep product knowledge and professionalism, but for the trust he earned from his clients. He approached his work with integrity, humility and a personal touch that made a lasting impression.

Above all else, Bob loved his family. They were the center of his world, and nothing brought more joy than spending time together. He had a passion for travel, especially to Europe and the New England coast – his favorite destinations. His adventures were often shared around the table, where his was also the proud MasterChef. If he wasn't in the kitchen, he was arriving to the gatherings with the biggest turkey or the most generous gifts – always given with pride, never expecting anything in return.

In addition to his family, his home and heart were also rooted in his beautiful garden, which he lovingly tendered. He found peace among the flowers and passing birds, with his wife by his side and their dogs always close. It was a place of color, warmth, patience and care – just like him.

Robert left a legacy of character built on humbleness, a gentle kindness of spirit and a timely since of humor. He was a very private gentleman, living by the simple but powerful value of “family first.” He deeply cherished every minute spent with his family; his fondest moments were summers spent together at The Sagamore in NY, surrounded by those he loved most.

A gathering of immediate family will be held on Lake George to celebrate the wonderful life of Bob Dembrosky before his final resting place in NY.
