While serving in the US Army, Bob met and married the love of his life Patricia Ann Zaccarelli. After serving his country, Bob worked at Bishop Tube In Malvern, PA and was later elected Pennsylvania State Constable where he remained until retirement.
Bob studied martial arts, earning a black belt. He was an avid outdoors man and a loyal Green Bay Packers fan.
Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a hero to many and kind to all. Bob brought a warm home and safer community to the township he served as constable. While a law enforcer, he served as a humanitarian to those who were “criminals” and helped to work with them towards a better life. He had a very unique combination of sternness and compassion which brought him GREAT respect within his community. He helped make the world a better place and left a large beautiful family who all knew that if times were tough, you could rely on “pop-pop”. People say they will give you the shirt off their back, but Bob lived that and would give you his last dollar and suffer himself to help others. This is a lasting lesson he brought to those that knew him and which we have all benefited. Please carry that message on in his honor.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Patricia A Kundert (nee Zaccarelli); his five daughters who he truly adored Debra Mook (Gilbert), Linda Kundert, Nancy Eberle (Larry), Patricia Walton Willams, Roberta Hopwood (Dane); twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren, his sister Marleen Kundert and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents Franklyn and Dorothy Kundert (nee Gray) and sister June Scadin (nee Kundert).
He will be greatly missed and is truly irreplaceable in his family and communities’ hearts.
