Ross Alexander Edlund, 31 of Devon, PA passed away suddenly on June 16th. Ross enjoyed life passionately through extreme sports, fishing, and appreciating and playing music, particularly his drums. He had a vast knowledge of musical artists of every decade and genre.
Ross studied fine wood working at Red Rocks Community College in the foot hills of the mountains of Colorado, being absolutely proud of his masterpieces. His mind was as sharp as the tools he used. He had an insatiable thirst for knowledge of history and of how things worked. But his greatest passion was to love and make people happy. Born with a giving and caring nature that could not be hidden, Ross also had a wicked sense of humor. He took pride in his style, wearing it well, and he strived to be appropriate... always. ROSS'S PRESENCE JUST SIMPLY AND NATURALLY MADE EVERYONE GLOW. HE WAS BELOVED. He will be sorely missed by countless friends and family, all of whom will hold Ross in their hearts until the end of time.
Ross leaves behind his mother and step father, Diane and Tim Kane, Father, Michael Edlund, two beloved siblings and best friends, Tara and Patrick, Grandmothers Jean Piombino and Gisela Witte, Grandfather, George Witte, many loving aunts, uncles and cousins and his best four legged friend, Buck.
Visitation will be at Alleva Funeral Home, Inc. 1724 E. Lancaster Ave. Paoli, PA. 19301, on Saturday, June 22 from 10-12, followed by a ceremony at 12:00pm to honor Ross's life. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in Ross's honor to Gray Paws Sanctuary (Gray Paws Sanctuary for abandoned senior dogs - Gray Paws Sanctuary) or WXPN (WXPN 88.5 FM :: Public Radio from the University of Pennsylvania
