Ruth Spincic

Ruth Spincic, age 88, passed away on April 19, 2022. Ruth was a long time resident of Paoli, Pennsylvania. She was born on January 24, 1934 to parents, Edward Nagle and Wanda Olekszyk. Ruth graduated from Villanova University with a degree in Accounting and worked for many companies.

At her Paoli home of over 50 years, Ruth enjoyed entertaining and everyone was always welcome. Spending time with friends and family was always her favorite; The Christmas Eve Open House was an event well known for bringing plenty of cheer and joy to all who came. Ruth was an avid golfer. She enjoyed reading, gardening and getting things done. She was able to refinish furniture, build bookcases, sand wood floors, build patios and fix just about anything. She did it all with a smile and invitations for drinks afterwards. She spent many Saturdays at yard sales with her daughters and friends finding treasures to surprise Frank. Ruth loved the beach home they had in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, lots of dancing and time spent exploring the parks. Ruth and Frank also enjoyed biking from Rehoboth to Lewes with their dog in the bike basket.

Ruth volunteered her time at the Surrey Services for Seniors to help others with taxes. Ruth has donated her body to medical science through the Humanities Gift Registry. The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine has received her donation.

Ruth is predeceased by her sister, Kathleen Barwis of Southampton, PA.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Frank Spincic of Paoli, her daughters, Jeanette Churche of West Norriton, PA, Gail McCarthy (Paul) of Kennett Square, PA, Suzanne McLaughlin (Brian) of Wilmington, DE and Elizabeth Churche McErlean (Patrick) of Swarthmore, PA. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Kevin, Sean, Shannon, Ryan, Morgan, and Benjamin.

Friends and family are invited to attend Ruth's Life Celebration on April 29, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Waynesborough Country Club (440 Darby Paoli Road, Paoli PA 19301).
