November 24, 2021 Steve is a good friend. I did not say "was" even though he is no longer with us. The picture captures Steve in action: we went sharing many times. He had great zeal and cared about the lost. We miss you Steve.

Mom (Aunt Rose) remembers the unforgettable trip out west with Steve, Joe & Horty, and Irene. They all piled into Mom’s Cadillac with luggage carrier on top and headed to Rocky Mountains from Dry Ridge, Kentucky with Steve as the chauffeur. They saw the beautiful national parks including Zion, Bryce Canyons and the Grand Canyon. Mom and Irene crimped their style by not wanting to camp at all the locations. We all got to enjoy hearing their funny stories and beautiful pictures (many taken by Steve). Rest In Peace Steve❤️❤️

Steve and I enjoyed a hike up North Table Mountain in Golden, Colorado. Steve was patient as I hiked up the first incline at a snail’s pace. I think he could have jogged! So much for me teasing that he was the “flat-lander!” Rest In Peace, cousin.❤️ Heartfelt condolences to the entire Bertsch family.
