Stephen William Roddy

Steve was a man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He was a dang good softball player and a devoted Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles fan which he loved to watch with his children. One of his greatest passions was also golfing, especially spending time on the course with his brothers, sharing stories, laughs, and creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Steve’s family will remember him for his sense of humor and the countless memories he created with those he loved. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit will live on in the stories shared, the games watched, the rounds of golf played, and the love he leaves behind.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Martin Roddy; his mother, Alice Roddy; his brothers, Thomas Roddy and Robert Roddy; and his beloved nephew, Douglass Roddy.

He is survived by his loving children, Andrew Roddy (Annie), Megan White (Sean), and Michael Roddy; his cherished grandchildren, Derek Roddy and Lindsey White; and his siblings, Barbara Hofstad (David), Jack Roddy, Martin Roddy (Sharon), Michael Roddy (Janet), Alice Hastings (Thomas), and Carol Pirolli (Gene).

Steve also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, along with countless friends and extended family members who were blessed to know him.

Steve will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered.

Stephen's visitation will by Monday, June 29, 2026 from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption, 35 Old Eagle School Rd, Wayne, PA 19087, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. A graveside burial of ashes will take place at a later date.
