Thomas B. Basile, 88, of Devon, passed away peacefully with his children by his side on February 24th, 2017. Husband of the late Pauline (Peggy) Russo Basile, Tom is survived by his children Lisa Canavarro, Michelle, and Tom Jr. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Christian and Natasha. Originally from Norristown, Tom attended Norristown High School. He was the son of Theodore and Loretta Basile and was the youngest of their 10 children. Tom was a well-known commercial and industrial builder and was president of Thomas B. Basile, Inc. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family and friends. Relatives and friends may call on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 9:30 – 10:30AM at Saint Monica Church: 635 First Ave, Berwyn, Pa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tom’s honor to your favorite charity.
