

Thomas A. Timmins Jr., known as “Captain”, 87, of Berwyn, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday August 4, 2012. Thomas was the beloved husband of 58 years to Jane (nee Barrow) Timmins. He was a WWII Army Veteran wounded @ Monte Cassino, Italy and was a recipient of various medals, including the Purple Heart & Bronze Star. Following the Army, Thomas became a Professional Sports Fishing Captain and was an Honorary Deputy of the PA Fish & Wildlife Commission. He was also a member of the following organizations: Ducks Unlimited, Ruffed Grouse Society & Disabled American Veterans. Thomas was the proud father of: Jane Horning, Kit Bernier, Tom (Cheryl) Timmins III, Dan (Annette) Timmins & Mary Timmins; and loving grandfather of 6. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass at St. Norbert Church: 50 Leopard Rd. Paoli, PA on Fri. Aug. 17th, 2012 @ 11AM. A private burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
