

He was born in Media, PA to the late Warren and Miriam (Zug) Dry in 1940.
Warren was a proud veteran on the United States Army Military Police stationed in Kaiserslauter, Germany. He married the love of his life, Marie Lewis in 1961. They were married at St. Monica Church in Berwyn, PA. He was a member of the American Legion Dalton Wanzel Post 646 in Paoli. He was also a past master of the Masons. In his early years he was a hunter and fisherman and a lifelong gun enthusiast. He loved cats, playing golf, playing the games at the Valley Forge Casino, camping at the Chester County campgrounds and especially scratch offs, his favorite gift for every occasion. Warren and Marie owned a bar in upstate Pennsylvania named the Charles Dickens Pub, which they ran together for many years.
Warren leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 64 years, Marie Dry, his son, Douglas Dry and his wife, Kimberly, His grandsons, Ryan Douglas Dry and his fiance, Heleanna Davison, Daniel James Dry and his wife, Julia and Jacob Thomas Dry, his sister, Judith Pedrick and his nieces, Erica Spizzirri and her husband, Louis Martini and Dina Raihill and her husband Doug.
He was predeceased by his son, James Dry and his brother, James Dry.
All funeral services are private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Warren's honor to the American Legion Dalton Wanzel Post 646 at 1705 Russell Road, Paoli, PA 19301.
