Alec graduated from Millard West High School and later attended coding school, bringing a sharp mind and steady determination to everything he set out to learn. His intelligence was matched by a quiet thoughtfulness—an ability to notice what others needed, and to respond with care.
In his professional life, Alec was known for his strong work ethic and reliability. He served as Lead Technician at UBreakIFix and later as an IT Support Specialist at Buildertrend, roles that suited his problem-solving nature and the generous way he shared his time and knowledge with others.
Alec’s life was deeply rooted in family. He is survived by his parents, Shari Whitworth, and Gene & Kellie Chevalier; his brother, Brendan Chevalier; and his grandparents, Lou and Monica Pechek, Bette and Gary Collins, and Gene and Liz Chevalier. He is also lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Alec was loved by his family, and he valued them in return—steadfastly, sincerely, and with a devotion that never needed to be announced to be felt.
Outside of work, Alec found joy in Husker football, sports, gaming, golf, and spending time with friends. He also had a special affection for animals, a reflection of his kind-hearted nature and the gentle way he moved through the world. Those who knew him will remember a smile that could light up a room—one that made others feel welcome, seen, and at ease. The world will miss your smile.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Kahler Dolce Mortuary, 441 North Washington Street, Papillion, Nebraska, on May 7, 2026, at 6:00 pm. Visitation with family will begin at 5:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Alec's name to an animal rescue or an organization associated with mental health.
