I was in the Gateway to College program, and I was a troubled kid. I didn't care that much about school. I didn't try that hard for anything in my life. Until I met Amber. She pushed me to be my best, she went out of her way to make sure I was okay. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be a highschool graduate. I owe so much to her, and I am so deeply hurt that I will never get to thank her again for how much she helped me. Amber was a great soul, and the world needs more like her. I pray she finds eternal rest and is in a better place. I'm keeping all of her family in my prayers. Fly High Amber 🙏🏻

We are so sorry to hear about Amber, Grandma Donna shared a letter with me the other day that Amber had sent her in November. She said the nicest things about you and all the kids. What a wonderful memory for Donna and Don to have. Take care

I will be forever grateful to Amber for the guidance she so selflessly gave to my daughter this past year in the Gateway program. I was constantly in awe of her genuine care for my child's successes. My daughter is on track to graduate in Spring, and I thank Amber for her patience and persistence in helping her get to this point. Her students really looked up to her and she positively impacted so many kids' lives through her work. Our family is sending our love and prayers to Amber's family for healing. Amber will be very missed.
