December 16, 1941 – January 28, 2023
A resident of Omaha for 42 years, she was born and raised in Morristown, NJ.
Then on to Cornell where she became a very proud Cornellian, class of ‘64. Her first job was in New York City, working at the Rockefeller Institute. Then onto Chicopee, MA for teaching where she met her husband to be David R. Meunier. They were married May 6, 1967 in Morristown, NJ at a very well attended wedding. David eventually became Lt. Col. Meunier Battle Staff Intelligence at Offutt Airforce Base. David passed in 2006.
While in Omaha, Connie was Assistant Development Director with the Opera Omaha, and in the Real Estate Department of Union Pacific Rail Road, both for many years.
Connie totally enjoyed travelling. While living in New Market, England she toured all over Europe, the Middle East and even the U.S.S.R. She never stopped travelling, taking numerous cruises and tours both in the USA and Europe.
No mention of Connie would be complete without pointing out her life long love of animals and especially her cats. Waa Wa,Maria and Little Buddy are still together in their new loving home. Connie will rest easily knowing they are safe and loved.
She is also survived by her brother, Walter Bennett, his wife Donna, sisters Patricia Jeske and Dianne Hazelwood. Connie had a wide and loyal circle of friends along with numerous beloved Nieces and Nephews. All have expressed their feelings of deep loss and their regard that “She Presented a Fine Style”.
Connie will be interred with her husband David, at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
