Cora Robinson, 80, died on January 28, 2023 in her home in Tooele, UT. Known affectionately as Cookie, she was born on October 4, 1942 in Dunkirk, NY to the late Edward and Jean Miehl Yocum. She married Donald Robinson, also of Dunkirk, NY, and eventually settled in Papillion, NE where they raised their family and she worked at the Midlands Community Foundation. She loved to read and scrapbook and was an avid soccer fan. Upon her retirement, she moved to Statesboro, GA to live with her daughter and grandchildren whom she adored.
Cora was preceded in death by her husband, Don, and her son, Donny Robinson. She is survived by her daughter Kristi (Andy) Welch; five grandchildren: Bekah, Nash, Madi, Abby, and Lance Welch; sister Norma Dubiel; brother Roger (Nancy) Yocum; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation will be held on February 6 from 6 to 8 pm at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary in Papillion, NE. Private interment at Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Cora’s memory may be honored with a contribution to the Midlands Community Foundation, 217 N Jefferson St, Papillion, NE 68046 or Harmony Hospice, ℅ David Strong, 5650 S Green St, Murray, UT 84123.
