Doris E. Frank, 95, passed away Sunday, December 28th in Papillion, NE. Formerly of Wheaton, IL, she was the youngest of 7 children born March 28, 1919 in Stratford, WI to George and Katherine Stover. She married Lloyd Frank on June 20, 1942.
A lifelong teacher and learner, she received her Doctorate in Education in 1975 and spent most of her post-doctoral career as a professor at College of DuPage (Wheaton), University of Alaska (Nome), and University of New Mexico (Gallup).
She learned to swim late in life and was more proud of completing 200 miles at the local YMCA than she was of her doctoral degree. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Kay (Tom) Guy (Bellevue, NE), son Rex Frank (San Antonio, TX), 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren
Private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
