Betty was Kdg teacher for all 5 of our children. She was the perfect teacher for that tender age. Kind, sweet and so good at this gift she had. We will always have a special place in our hearts for Mrs. Remmers.

I've known you Betty since I was little, with the PVFD. My kids were in your kindergarten class at LaVista West. You will me missed by so many, you were loved and admired by so many. My deepest sympathies go out to Todd, Karla and your family.

I loved my childhood on Smith Cir. Betty always had a hug and treated us like her own kids.
She also was such a good friend to my parents and grandmother. The two Bettys sure had a good time at plays, dinner and getting coffee at Target after church. My grandmother cherished this friendship.
She will always be very special to me.

I will always remember Betty as a dear friend who was devoted to her family. She was my son’s kindergarten teacher at La Vista West. Every spring, she would bring in chicken eggs so the children could see them hatch. She even had a class guinea pig, and plants everywhere, some of which ended up in the library. She served on the PTA board, was my co-worker and friend. I remember our road trips to Iowa to see her sister Jean. She treasured the time spent with her grandchildren and loved reading to them. She shared Todd’s love for Tractors, always telling me about his latest purchase and the tractor pulls and threshing events he participated in. She was a farm girl at heart. Betty cared about everyone and was a friend to all. She will be missed! So sorry for your loss Todd.
