She was born on February 3, 1964 to Mary and Jerry Strawn, and grew up with her four sisters and four brothers making a lifetime of memories in Papillion.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 24 years, Don, siblings, Ruth, Peggy, Barb, John, and Jeff, Don’s children Nicole and Brian, granddaughter Ariana, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and cherished friends. She is welcomed home to heaven by her parents, and her siblings, Mary Kay, Jerry, and Jim “Gov.” She was the “favorite” to all who knew her and loved to spoil everyone in her life. She truly did “love you more.”
A graduate of Papillion-La Vista High School, Class of 1982, Betsy had an incredible work ethic. She made many friends being a talented trainer during her long career at ConAgra Foods. She furthered her education and earned her bachelor’s degree.
Betsy was an active member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church and was devoted to her faith and fellowship. She showed this through her acts of kindness and the love she gave.
Those who knew Betsy knew that she was a fun-loving and caring woman with a great sense of humor. She celebrated everyone’s birthdays and was always there when someone needed her.
Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, May 12, at 11:00 am at St. Columbkille Church, 200 E 6th St, Papillion, NE 68046.
