We learned of Emily's passing when our Christmas 2014 card was recently returned and I researched the internet. We lived just down the street from Emily and Joe for four years while stationed at Offutt AFB from Oct '75 - Dec '79. They were wonderful neighbors and their Christmas card was always the first one we received each year no matter where we were stationed. We will always think of them as dear friends and the absence of their Christmas card will ever remind us of how much they are missed. I do hope that this reaches the family because of its late submission. If this does reach the family please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you though tardy.
With sympathy,

Emily was a wonderful friend to my mom during her time at hospice, and I'm grateful that we had the opportunity to know her and your family. She will be missed.

Teresa, Ed, Pete and family: My heart aches for the loss of Emily. I cherish the memories I have of living next door to Emily and Joe and all the caring and consideration they gave to us and our boys. You parents will be forever in our thoughts and hearts.
