In the short time that I got to know

I will always remember Gary for his "never quit" and can-do attitude.  He certainly had a passion for his hotel, the people he worked with and guests he served each and every day.  We will miss you Gary!  May God bless you and your family during this time.

Although we have never met, we just want you to know that our family cared deeply for Gary.  He was our son's Omaha Dad.  Mickey would go to him for advice, especially on his vehicles.  Gary was always very cordial and friendly whenever we would stop in at the hotel.  Just wanted you to know that he will be very fondly remembered by our family.

We used to be close when he was in his teens and early twentys and I remember him as a fun person and willing to do anything to help you. We always had good times together. Thats how I'll remember him. I'll miss him.

It has been many years that I have last seen you, after graduation we all went our separate ways, but the summer memories are still there.  Our little gang that we had, Kenny, Carolyn, and Jon, we hung out late at night, drove around in Jon's baby blue car, and never got in trouble :)Although we never stayed intouch, I still thought of you often, you will be missed.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

As I read your guest book, I can't help but cry and laugh all at the same time.  The things people mentioned like Diva sharing your nickname Gare Bear or someone else mentioning the girl pants you SO loved to wear!  Everyone knows your favorite color is purple and I remember Tim buying you the purple hat and purple purse and you would wear them proudly (just to give us a laugh).  We all loved having you around and loved the laughs.  You still put smiles on faces even though you were hurting so bad.  I am so thankful to have known you.  You are hands down the funniest most compassionate man I have ever met.  I love & miss you! My thoughts and prayers go to your loving fiancée Jane and your precious family.  XOXO

Gary it has been quite a few years that i have seen you Buddy, but you have been been in my thoughts alot. I think back to the silly things we used to do. I miss you my friend.

Gary was a lot of things to many people and will be missed tremendously. Although I only had the opportunity to speak with Gary a couple of times, his sense of humor, good hearted nature and contagious smile left a lasting impression on me.

I will never forget opening the hotel with Gary many moons ago.  I still laugh thinking how proud he was that he was wearing his "girl pants"!  He had a way of lighting up the room and making everyone choose the right attitude!  My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this hard time.

Gary my favorite camping memories with our Mom's:  packing the camper for days, unpacking for days, coasting at Ponca, trips too short, frog-murders, streakers, ol' granddad, original hamburger helper....we had a great childhood didn't we?  I wish we could reminisce one more time.... Love you Cuz and I will truly miss that great smile.

Prayers to all the Foehlingers (Marcy, Bob, Kaye.....)  We grew up across the street from you for years and it was great "going down memory lane" with all the nice pictures posted.  I hear that Gary had a tough time and is now with "Mom and Dad" -  he will be with you all, too,  - Always!

I only got a chance to work with you a few times while opening HWS DT Omaha but it was a pleasure and honor to meet such a hard working, dedicated, & kind gentleman.   God Bless you with peace & no more pain And God Bless your friends & family in this time of sorrow and celebrating your life.

Although I only had the opportunity to work with you on limited occasions, it was always abundantly apparent what a genuinely good person you were.  Your sense of humor and your devotion to service to those around you truly drew people to you.  You will be sorely missed and never replaced in the lives you have touched. I can't even begin to say how much of a pleasure it was getting to know you. You set an example of not only how to be a hard worker, but how to be a loving, caring and honest person. I loved how I could go to you to vent about something and you would listen to me. I loved how when I needed a laugh, you would ALWAYS give me one. You set of an example of how all of us should live. It still blows my mind how you could make me roll on the floor laughing on those hospital visits despite being in that hospital bed. Thank you for setting an example for me on how to live my life to the fullest. Thank you for the memories. Thank you for making your corner of the world a better place.

You were the best person in the world!  You were always there for me.  You were a funny person and you had a big heart, and I will never forget you!  Your family was lucky to have you. I love you Gary and I miss you.

Gary, you were a great person to work with and you always had a kind-hearted spirit.  You could always make me laugh, and I will never forget that.  I will always remember our last chat together at the hospital.  You will always be Gare Bear (or Gary Beary) to me, and I will always be Diva Louise to you.  I love you, Gary!  My sympathies go out to Jane, your family, and all your friends.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

You have fought such a hard battle for two years and I know of no one that could have endured what you have. Your strength and sense of humor will be passed on to your two sons that love you with all their heart. I feel very blessed to to have gotten closer to you and Jane in the last couple of years. Gary, I will miss our morning chats.  You always made my days brighter.  I love you like my brother. Your humor is like no other.  You are family to me.  I was so happy to see you eating ice cream in the hospital when Diva and I came to visit and then John and I the next day.  You used to tell me how much you loved ice cream and you would melt it in the microwave for a few minutes to get it nice and soft.  John and I love you very much and I am so happy I was able to give you one more kiss on the forehead!!!!!
