Dear Michelle and family, I am so grateful that I had the chance to know George through those difficult last days.  His ready smile and introspective attitude attracted me to visit when he no longer met us all for meals together.  I shall miss him.  You may see me in MD.  All love to you. Aunt Gus and family,  Roger, Russell and I are so sorry for the loss of Uncle George.  But to go so peacefully and quietly.  He was a great man.  We will miss him so much but at least he is now watching over us all.  We wished that we could be with you at this time, but our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

George was truly a man of God who served his God, his country, and his family with love and devotion.  I will miss his smile, which he carried despite any physical circumstances, and his firm handshake, which always came with words of encouragement.  God rest his soul and give comfort to all of the family through His perfect grace and peace.

The day I meet George change my life 15 years ago.my prayers and thoughts are with you all.

Even from a different state and a different family I knew this man as another grandpa. PawPaw loved the Lord and lived out his life like a true man of God, I will miss him terribly but I know that he is with my other grandparents watching over us all. Love you PawPaw.

I'm so thankful for the opportunity to have known him.  He encouraged me to share the Gospel with others because of the testimony of his own conversion to Christ.  He encouraged my parents and me with his gentle and faithful spirit. Surely the angels are rejoicing in heaven with his arrival into glory as a good and faithful servant.  Praying for the family he leaves behind.

George Was a Comrade in Arms as well as my Friend. He was a Friend to many others as well. When ever he had the chance he was more than willing to go see some one and share the word. Now He is with the FATHER, We can be certain that he will be enjoying what ever THE LORD has for him to do.

Your loss today is Heaven's gain and there is rejoicing with George's homegoing.  Few people this side of Heaven truly love unconditionally and unabashedly share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  George was one of them.  He loved his Lord, he loved his family, he loved the bretheren, and he loved his country.  A wonderful man of God has joined his King in eternity.  We grieve with each of you with your loss but celebrate his eternity with our Lord.

We are so sorry for your loss. May God provide you all with peace that passes all understanding.

George and I became good friends later in his life. He became a loving friend he helped me through some tough times in my life. He always had a quick and most loving smile. I will miss our times together and the bond we shared as Military Service members. Thank you George for being my brother in Christ. Dale

George was one of the most influential men in my life. His love and support toward his children and grandchildren was unconditional. His Faith and attitude was admired by all. God has called home someone who lived up to his calling.
