In Springfield I found a true treasure in my friendship with Harry and his family.  Harry's sincerity, honesty, kindness, and love for life were a rarity.  Harry's life became the yardstick against which I measure my own.  I'll miss you, Harry.  You'll be in my thoughts forever.

Rita and family, we are all so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember the happiness and pride on Harry's face when he came to the arena to watch the kids practice on the horses, and at the youth rodeos.

We were fortunate to get to know Harry thru Lizzie. 
We have fond memories of all the times we got 
together to play cards and the many trips we took 
together, especially to Maui.

Seems like just yesterday I was having you investigated to make sure you were good enough for my mom? Well you proved to be one of greatest men I have ever known, and the dearest papa to my beautiful children! You are forever in hearts and your gentle ways will never be forgotten! RIP papa Harry!

Harry was a very nice and sweet man. He was always there for everyone. I am so glad that he got to enjoy almost a year with Henry and I know Henry loved him as much as everyone else. My thoughts and prayers are with Mike,Sarah, and the rest of the family.

My Sweet Harry I have known you and Marie for 35 years.  We Sat behind each other in church every Sunday.  When you lost your Beloved Marie,Bob and I reached out to you offering our help with what ever you needed.  We felt so sad for you.  Marie was a lovely lady and you were so kind to each other.  A special Bond, a Special Love.  When my Beloved Bob Died suddenly two years later Father Cain asked that you look after me.  And you did as he requested.  Our Church bond grew into a deep friendship and then an even deeper Love.  I wouldn't have survived without your Love and Kindness.  I stopped living when Bob Died and you brought life back into me.  I can never thank you for all you have done.  You have loved my grandchildren as if they were yours and they have loved you.  Katie Girl (as you called her) adored you.  After all you taught her to read, talk, walk and play Poker. She loved you Harry all of my grandbabies and children loved you.  The day I lost you I knew it was for the best, as you would not suffer anymore and you would soon be with your beloved Marie.  I didn't want to say goodbye I couldn't .  I have been blessed to have had two very special men in my life who cared for me and loved me so very deeply.  You were my world.  You taught me so much. I hope I gave to you as much as you gave to me. I Love you Harry.  Aloha My Love.   Love always and forever Lizzie

From what I knew of him, Harry was a sweet man with a big heart. He went out of his way to be kind to me every time I saw him. I know he will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all that knew him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
