I was only in your home for a few years but it was always warm and welcoming. I truly enjoyed being one of Jake’s nurses. Your family will always have a special place in my heart. No words can ease your pain but I hope the love of those around you help you get through this time.

Abels Family,
Thank you for allowing me into your home to care for Jacob for the last 10 years. He was like one of my own and it was easy when you have the greatest family there to work with. You have become my family. I know that Jacob is in a better place and it is a blessing. My deepest condolences.

It has been an honor & priviledge to be part of the team of nurses that cared for Jacob over the last 19 years. Many times over the years, I would enter the home & address Jacob, he would immediately turn toward my voice, sometimes with a smile on his face, just melted my heart. One day, his teacher (KVB) was working with Jacob, he kept turning his head, looking for me, he knew I would probably come to his rescue so he wouldn't have to do school work. To Jenny & Scot: thank you for allowing me into your home to help care for your precious son, and thank you for making me a part of your family. May the wonderful memories that you have of Jacob help ease the sorrow of days to come. Much love to you and your family.

Patty
