He was born on October 21st, 1982 in Raleigh, North Carolina to Henry Mwima of Zambia, Africa and Constance Palmer of Baltimore, Maryland. At the age of 7, he came to Nebraska to live with his Uncle Stew and Aunt Barbara, as well as his cousins, Antoni and Brandon, who quickly became his mom, dad, sister and brother, embraced as one of their own from that day forward. Jason was educated for most of his life at Central Christian Schools in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from Papillion-LaVista High School in 2002. After high school, Jason joined the Master’s Commission program in El Paso, TX for one year, where he learned to use his talents to spread God's love around the country. He had recently found a career he had a passion for at Boys Town as an Assistant Family Teacher, where he was well loved by the youths and staff alike. But all who knew him know his first love was music. Known affectionately as “Menace” and a part of Grown Kidz Entertainment, Jason loved to create, produce and perform all over Omaha and the surrounding areas.
Jason is preceded in death by his grandparents, John Henry and Norris Palmer of Raleigh, and his uncles Julian Evans, Ronnie Palmer, Johnny Ray Palmer and Isiah Clark, Jr. of Raleigh.
Jason is survived by his son, Josiah Mwima (mother, Hannah Stoysich) and his daughter, Penelope Given (mother, Carla Given); his biological parents; his chosen family, Oliver, Jr. (Stew) and Barbara Stewart, Antoni (Michael) Stewart Schutz and nephew, Luke, and Brandon Stewart; his sister, Evana (Mariyah) Watson; special friend, Trisha Thompson; and lifelong friends Branden Mitchell, Jason Mace, Matt Lube, Chris Mitchell, Jason DeVose, Christopher Rocha, Jay Girley, and Tony Godwin; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A viewing will be held at 2:00 pm with service to follow at 3:00 pm at Lifegate Church in Papillion, NE.

“The righteous pass away; the godly often die before their time. And no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For the godly who die will rest in peace.” Isaiah 57:1-2
