Dear Bob and Family, My heart is breaking today for all of you and for me. I have been thinking of Joanie so much this past week and even had a dream about her last night. I got up today planning to call her this afternoon. When I brought in the Lincoln paper this morning Joan's obituary jumped out at me and I fell to my knees in shock. She must have been trying to tell me she had already gone. I wasn't aware her health had turned bad. But that's my fault for not keeping in touch better. I wanted to plan a lunch date with her on one of my trips to the Creighton Med Center and talk to her about our class reunion in 2015.

I left a message for Lindsey to get in touch with me.

Joan could always make me laugh. I will always remember the slumber parties we had at the airport in Holdrege.

PEACE -----
May you find it in the days to come,
and in the loving thoughts that are with you now.

May Peace come,
May Time heal.

My Love and Prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.
