John L Trefz Jr.

John was born April 24, 1961 to John L. Trefz, Sr and Aida Trefz in Cleveland, OH.

From his first job as a stock boy at Medic Drug, to his long tenure at the Eveready Battery Company that put him through college, John gave his talents through his good work. The only thing John was more proud of than his long and distinguished Naval Aviation career, was his family. He was the type of father that you could call every day just to ask how to hard boil an egg. After many deployments and several moves all over the country, Papillion has been his home since 2007. After his military retirement, John continued working as a DOD civil servant at STRATCOM J87, on the weekends he also enjoyed running their family business, Wine Cellar 510. He could often be seen stocking bottles on any random night. He called it fun!

He is survived by his best friend, Shannen M. Trefz of Papillion NE, son, John L. "Jack" (Arissa) Trefz III of Papillion NE, daughter, Alexandra M. "Allie" Trefz of Northridge, CA and sister, Jeanne Ambro of Elyria, OH. He was preceded In death by his mother, Aida Trefz and father, John L. Trefz, Sr of North Ridgeville OH.
