Jo graduated from Williamsport High School and later graduated from Lycoming College in Williamsport. She worked at Bell Telephone in Philadelphia before marriage, and then became a homemaker. She was actively involved with the Red Cross as a volunteer, various church ministries and Intergenerational Orchestra.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Brong; her mother, father and sister.
She is survived by her three children, Deb Brong, Jeff (Jill) Brong, Robin (Les) Lenz; her two granddaughters Casey (Jack) Harm, Steph (Allison) Seewald; and four great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the incredible hospice team at Endless Journey and her loving caregivers for the dedication and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.
