Judith Mae Todd, known to family and friends as Judy, was born on August 15, 1950, in Burlington, Iowa, where she grew up and graduated from Burlington High School in 1968. She went on to graduate from the University of Iowa before eventually making her home in the Omaha, Nebraska, metro area.
Judy began her career teaching band at Lewis Central in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She later taught band to elementary and middle school students through the Omaha Catholic school system before transitioning to substitute teaching in the Plattsmouth school district and eventually Omaha Public Schools.
She passed away on the evening of October 19, 2026, in Papillion, Nebraska, at the age of 76.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ella Mae Boltz; her grandparents; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved dog, Rascal.
She is survived by her children, Kieran (Stefanie) Todd of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, and their three children, Ireland (20) and twins Jayson and Joslyn (17); and Kristin (Levi) Schreck of La Vista, Nebraska, and their son, Henrik (14).
Visitation with Family will be held on October 29, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Kahler Dolce Mortuary, 441 North Washington Street, Papillion, NE 68046.
A Memorial Service will be held on October 30, 2026, at 10:30 am at Kahler Dolce Mortuary, 441 North Washington Street, Papillion, NE 68046.
