Kathlyn Marie Sinnett

Kathlyn Marie Sinnett, 80, of Papillion, Nebraska, entered into rest on May 16, 2025. Kathy was born in Omaha, Nebraska on October 7, 1944 and was baptized October 22, 1944. The daughter of Herb and Helen Lienemann, she was the oldest of 5 children. She was a 1961 graduate of Platteview High School, and married Ron Sinnett in May 1965. She worked at the office of Dr. Don Baca for many years, then served as Office Manager and Music Coordinator for Lamb of God Lutheran Church. She sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, and played the organ/piano for countless services and special occasions for more than 50 years.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are sons Tim Sinnett (wife Rose), Aaron Sinnett (wife Jenna); adopted son Tony Sunga (wife Melissa); siblings Larry Lienemann (wife Jill), Gene Lienemann (wife Sally), Dennis Lienemann, Carol (Lienemann) Krenzer; eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Kathy will be lovingly remembered for her warm heart, kind spirit, devotion to her faith, and willingness to make everyone feel like a part of the family. She overcame numerous health issues throughout her life; and she was passionate about making the most out of the time she had. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren and her music.

Visitation to be held Wednesday, May 28, 4:00-7:00 pm at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary, Papillion NE. Funeral services to be held Thursday, May 29, 10:30am at First Lutheran Church followed by Interment at Papillion Cemetery.
