Keith Turner was the best Grandpa anyone could ever have. He was always teaching me how to drive the tractor,the lawn mower, fix fence, drill holes in the ground to put fence post in, and he would also be at my side playing with me when i was a kid. I think our best play dates were in the summer when we would have water fights!Our best work day was when we were out fixing fence together. Our best breakfast times together was when we would go to the doughnut shop.Just being with him was a joy. Ilove you Grandpa and always will.Your oldest Grand daughter

I was very sorry to hear of Keith's passing.  I always enjoyed seeing him at work at UNO, and will miss his sense of humor.  I will also miss his uncanny sense of smell knowing exactly which offices had food to share.  I wish I could have been at the service, but am in the process of moving.

Keith was always very adept at getting to the core of an issue. But he didn't bludgeon others who disagreed - he used humor and wry observation to make his point.  I always enjoyed conversations with Keith at various economic events over the past 30 years. My condolences to the Turner family - we all knew that Keith was one of a kind. Keith was a great teacher, great guy, very funny, down to earth, great story teller, and was nobody's fool when it came to interpreting politics and current events.  He was very encouraging to me in my studies as an older student with family and working full time, and in my economics career since, and I was fortunate and honored to be his friend. He will be missed.

Keith was simply one of the best instructors I had during graduate school at UNO.  I enjoyed his down to earth personality and his sense of humor which he deftly employed during his lectures.
