She was born in Franklin, Ohio, to Delbert L. and Florine (Purcell) Jones.
She lived with her parents in Dayton, Ohio, throughout her childhood and took care of her younger siblings while her parents worked.
She married Dale F. Schneidewind in Dayton, Ohio and they moved to Papillion, Nebraska in 1963, where Dale worked for NCR.
They moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa in 1976. Dale passed away in 1999.
Toni continued to live in Council Bluffs, until moving in with Kitty and Randy in Papillion, Nebraska.
Everyone that met Toni could feel her love for them. She never met a stranger. She loved crafts, crocheting, knitting and jewelry making and spending time with her family.
Toni is preceded in death by her husband, Dale, her parents, and her brother, Billy D. Jones.
She is survived by her daughter, Kitty (Randy) Penke of Papillion, daughter Kimberly (Brad) Hyndman, daughter Debra (David) Messersmith and son Dale (Karen) Schneidewind, all of Council Bluffs, Iowa; grandchildren: Dalton and Dane Messersmith, Brandi, Sterling and Breanne Schneidewind, Kelly (Jason) Shaffer of Mount Ayr, Iowa. Jason Penke of Papillion, Nebraska, Luke Penke of Lyons, Nebraska, great-grandchildren Jaylee, Kellon, Kynzlee and Jaycee Shaffer.
Toni has been cremated and ashes will be interred at Cedardale Cemetery in Papillion where a graveside service for family will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
