Mary E. Fabian

Mary Ellen Fabian (Penman) born on June 1, 1929 to Miles and Ellen Penman in West Frankfort, Illinois. Mary was the youngest of six children. Mary married Emil M. Fabian Jr. of Tampa, Florida on February 1, 1950 in Belleville, IL. During their marriage, Mary and Emil welcomed three children. Throughout their marriage, Mary and her family lived in many places throughout the United States as well as Europe before settling in Papillion, Nebraska in 1967. Mary was employed at the Sarpy County Courthouse for 15 years as well as an active member of Saint Columbkille Church. In her free time, Mary enjoyed spending time in the kitchen preparing superb meals for family and friends.

Mary was proceeded in death by husband of 51 years, Emil M. Fabian Jr., great grandson William Stanton, parents Thomas and Ellen Penman and five siblings Miles Penman, Winifred Bauer, Joseph Penman, Thomas Penman and Al Penman. Mary is survived by her three children; daughter Ellen Fabian Brokofsky (Rick) of Papillion, NE, son Emil (Mike) Fabian III (Debi) of Papillion, NE, and son Miles Fabian of Rockville, MD, 4 grandchildren Patrick Davey (Danette), Maryellen Stanton (Dan) and Eric and Joe Fabian, 4 great grandchildren Sara Stanton, Megan Davey and Peyton and Olivia Schnepel and 1 great-great grandchild Liam Batter.

Memorial Service May 28, 2015 at 10:00 am St. Columbkille Ctholic Church.
