I was shocked to hear of Randy's passing. We had so many good times together during and after high school. He was such a pleasure to be around. RIP "The General"

I realized we never signed this. Randy was the best brother in law and coolest uncle ever. We are missing him more and more each day. 35 years together was just not long enough. So proud of hw he lived his life, reading all these entries make me so proud of him. It as makes me realize that he touched coubtless lives and that he packed a whole lot of living into those 55 years. He never lost his kind smile and willingness to help others, I'm very proud that he was my proud. I'll love you forever.

Randy was a funny and sweet man.  I worked with him at the RR and he was always very helpful & knowledgeable.  He was a great asset to the company and a blessing to those that knew him.  My prayers go to your family at this time - he will be missed greatly.  Stay strong in faith for him!!  He is no longer in pain. Live your life to be his legancy - he loved your family so very much!

As Sheila has said many times Heaven keeps getting sweeter all the time...

When I think of Randy I remember him and Sheila as our youth leaders at Glad Tidings.  Both you made an impact on so many lives.  Randy has received his reward just a little sooner than the rest of us.

Randy and I worked together for 14 years back in Lufkin when we first got started with Southern Pacific RR. He was a great kid and he turned into a fine man. My condolences to his family. Mike Campbell

    I met Randy at Lufkin, Texas when he hired out with SP.  I can truthfully say that Randy was one of the easist people to supervise that I ever worked with.  Randy always had a smile and always was on top of his work.  He truly loved being a part of a railroad family and he enjoyed every minute of his time on the job. I saw him a couple of time at StLouis and once at Omaha after all the moves. My sincere condolences to Sheila and Hazel. Randy was a good man.  Well done thy true and faithfull servant enter now into your reward.

We have had the pleasure of knowing this kind man and his wonderful family for many years. He was a wonderful husband, father and brother in law. He will be missed so very much.

I was shocked and saddened when I read the paper on Sunday to read about Randy's passing.  I always enjoyed him as a customer in the pharmacy when I was there.  He was such a sweet and kind man.  I can still hear his kind hello when I'd see him come in the store.  My sincerest condolences to Sheila and the rest of your family.  It was my pleasure to have served him and to have known him.

Randy is a godly man who has gone ahead of us all to the other side, but we will see you again on that day of the blessed hope, "the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ" !

Though I only had the pleasure of talking to Randy on the phone over the past 2 years through work, I could tell he was an amazing person! He always had a great spirit and a great attitude! I met Randy in Stlouis when UPRR merged with SPRR.  We rode the same bus downtown everyday, he was a very funny guy and I am so so sorry to hear of his passing....  God Bless Sheila and his boy, they were the love of his life
