Rebecca "Becky" Ann Eggeling

Becky was born and raised in Millard, NE to Kenneth and Betty Belter. She graduated from Millard South High School in 1978. In 1985, she married the late Charles Rodrigues and had two daughters Chelsea and Carissa.

She worked for UPS for 32 years and also where she met her husband Rod. They moved to Glenwood, IA in 2000 and married in 2010.

Becky was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1993 but went into remission shortly after for 17 years. She was diagnosed again in 2009 and fought incredibly hard for 13 years. She was an animal lover who loved walks with her dog Sugar and also enjoyed her birds, coy fish pond, flowers, traveling to Colorado and being with her friends and family. And mostly the last year and a half her first born biological grandson, Rowin whom she called the “Light of her life”.

Rebecca is survived by her husband Rodney Eggeling of Glenwood, IA. Her daughters Carissa (Rich Clark) Rodrigues, Chelsea Rodrigues. Step daughters Jamie (Adrian) Lewandowski and Jessica (Dietrich) Grauerholz. Sisters Deborah and Sandra. Eight grandchildren Dalton, Max, Eric and Beth Lewandoski, Kaitlyn Vosler, Cody and Avery Grauerholz and Rowin Clark.

A visitation for Becky will be held Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary, 441 North Washington Street, Papillion, Nebraska 68046. A memorial service will occur Monday, November 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary.
