Robert L. Becker was born on March 28, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri to Robert and Dolores Becker. Bob was raised on a farm outside of Papillion, Nebraska. He grew up by the Platte River where his love for hunting and fishing began. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and bravely served in the Vietnam War. After his discharge in 1969, he started his life long career as a truck driver. He met and married the love of his life, Bev in 1981. From this marriage there were three children; Cody, Colt, and Cord. Bob worked hard to provide for his family. They lived on an acerage where Bob shared his love for horses and instilled a hard work ethic. If he wasn't working, you could find him hunting, fishing, air boating, mushroom hunting, and spending time at the family cabin, on the Platte River. Bob also enjoyed watching his children in their sports. This past time continued with his granchildren. He was a great story teller and always had good advice, even if you didn't ask for it. The genuine influence that he had on others will forever be remembered. Bob passed away on December 13, 2020 surrounded by his family.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dolores (Davis) Becker.
