He is survived by Sandra (Larry) Fletcher, Susan (Verne) DeHaven, Stephen Mortenson, and Jill (Ross) Merchen, as well as grandchildren Cheryl, Debbie, Kelly, Verne Jr., Michael, Ginger, Stevie, Jayme, Tracey, Jeff, Becky and Sara. He was also blessed with many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
He lived to 96 but planned to make it to 100. Jesus had other plans.
