

Bert graduated from Platteview High in 1989
He spent most of his career working in local city maintenance and road departments as well as farming.
His family and friends were the center of his life. His dedication and love for his wife and son, Rhonda and Chris, was visible to all who knew him. He loved spending his free time camping, traveling, and celebrating with family friends. Bert was a friend to everyone and always loved having people around; the more the merrier. Always had time for one more at the garage beer parties, and Sunday meetings with Jimmy and friends was the perfect ending to his week.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Arnold Uhe; mother, Grace Darlene Uhe; brother-in-law, Bob Carter; and father-in-law, Joseph “Joe” Zauha.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda and son, Chris Uhe; sisters, Kathy (Ken) Schwer, Robin (Dan) Deatz, Connie Carter; and brother, Rick Uhe. Nieces and Nephews, including Kyle Schwer and Jenny (Ky) Fornoff, Grant (Rachel) Deatz, Pam Gilbert, Samantha (Jaron) Parker, Stacy (Fred) Peterson, Tony (Bethany) Deatz; mother-in-law, Donna Jean Zauha; Brothers-in-law, Steve (Marcy) Zauha, Jerry Zauha, Gary (Claudia) Zauha and family; Sisters-in-law, Lynn Hemminger and family, Donna (Curt) Arens and family.
VISITATION Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary. PRAYER SERVICE begins at 6:00 pm.
