

Roger Allen Psota of Papillion, Nebraska, passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 78. He was born on January 11, 1947, in Ord, Nebraska, where he grew up on a farm with his brothers, Ronald, Richard, and Randy, and sister, Jeanne.
After graduating from Ord High School in 1965, Roger earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a year of military education at the University of Nebraska.
He joined the Air Force in 1970, where he spent time as a pilot and instructor prior to retiring in 1993 as a Lieutenant Colonel. After retiring from the Air Force, Roger worked at First National Bank in the fraud department.
Roger was active with the Shepherds of St. Columbkille and enjoyed gardening, golf, and bowling.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Vernice Psota.
He is survived by his wife, Rapeepan Psota, children, Allen and Dennis, and grandson, Ryker.
A visitation followed by a rosary will take place at Kahler Dolce Mortuary, located at 441 North Washington Street, Papillion, Nebraska, 68046. The visitation is scheduled for October 6, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with the rosary beginning at 7:00 pm.
The funeral mass will be held at St Columbkille Church, located at 200 E Sixth Street, Papillion, Nebraska, 68046, on October 7, 2025, starting at 10:30 am.
A committal service will be held at the Omaha National Cemetery, 14250 Schram Road, Omaha, Nebraska, 68138 on October 9, 2025, starting at 11:00 am.
