“Sue was born in Weeping Water, Nebraska. She attended Central High School in Omaha and graduated from the University of Nebraska in Omaha. In 1950 she married Don and they had two sons. Sue worked various bookkeeping jobs in Lincoln and Omaha where she and Don spent most of their lives. They spent their early retirement years at the Lake of the Ozarks enjoying time with family and friends before returning to their roots in Lincoln. Sue was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, PEO and the American Legion Club. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and avid Nebraska Cornhusker football fan. Sue will be fondly remembered for her positive attitude and cheery disposition.”
