We had many wonderful visitors and kind words tonight at the viewing. Thank you all.

I knew Wayne as a father who dedicated countless hours to his children. He was a family man. He was known as an honest man and hard worker as well as a sports enthusiast.

However, I have been away from Papillion since my childhood and I didn’t realize how many young people he helped through teaching a strong and fair minded competitive will with his coaching.

One comment was that Coach Walsh was must be the winningest coach in Papillion history. I think that is true. He coached multiple sports and many teams through the years. We all ended up to be winners for the experience.

Thank you all for your kindness and appreciation.
