

Andy Lewis Clement, 98, of Clardy, passed away Friday, November 14, 2014. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Dr. L. C. Stout & Rev. Jody VanDeaver officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Mr. Clement, the son of Robert “Bob” and Betty Anderson Clement, was born April 20, 1916, in Clardy. He was a retired carpenter and farmer. Mr. Clement was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church for many years. Survivors include his wife, Louise Williams Clement, whom he married on July 31, 1942, in DeQueen, AR, building 72 years of family and memories, twin children, Betty Winters & husband Bobby of Clardy and Andy Clement & wife Hiromi of Arcadia, CA, grandchildren, Kim Carlow & husband Clayton of Clardy, Kip Winters, Wes Winters and Doug Winters, great grandchildren, Kolbie Carlow, Morgan, Mitch, Morita, Gracie, Brodie, Colton and Tiffany Winters along numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Roy Clement & Dugan Clement and 2 sisters, Eva King & Peggy Evans. Casket bearers will be: Jacob Allison, Shane Oats, Bobby Pomroy, Tony Ballard, Bobby Harrell and Ciro Peralta. Honorary bearers will be: Keith Stone, Harold Eatherly, Weldon Stone and Steve Dockery.
