There are sooooo many childhood memories to share. Uncle Tudy was definitely one of a kind. My nick name was An-gree-uhhh-sis, An-gree-uhhh-sis (totally misspelled that) I don't even know how he came up with that!!! I don't ever remember seeing Uncle Tudy without a smile on his face, laughing or bugging the kids until he made them cry then he would fake cry right along with them to irritate them more.
Whenever he came to visit the first place he went to was the fridge and asked what is there to eat, I swear he had a tape worm in him!!! He loved food! I loved hearing his stories about his profession because he was always so animated when he told them.
He and Monica had a very special bond, my heart aches so much for her but just know Monica he was very proud of you! He would tell me whenever he came down to visit how proud he was of you!!! I am so thankful we got to spend Thanksgiving with him and Adess and I know he was so happy to see his sisters and spend the time with them as well.
I will miss dearly :(

Art was the sunshine on a cloudy day kind of person. Fun to be around, happy and could be a little scrappy when someone disparaged "his Cowboys", but always compassionate.

One of my favorite memories is the Clifton's Halloween Costume Party and Hayride. Art's costume was a hoot and when he lost his shoe while chasing us behind the hay wagon was so hysterical!!! That was typical Art.

His deep love and devotion to his family were so evident. I pray for their comfort during these dark moments of earthly separation but know that reuniting with Art in Heaven is God's Promise.

Tudy was 29 years young when I met him at Ram Broadcasting and we worked together for several years. I immediately fell in love with his personality and good looks. He was the happiest man I ever met and we became best of friends immediately. Tudy was so much fun and as our friendship grew deeper, I met his beautiful Monica and we became a family of sorts. He was a wonderful, loving father and she was happy and fun like her Daddy. Those were some of the happiest years of my life and I cherish the memories I have. So many great stories but time won't allow. My deepest sympathy to Monica and her family and to all of Art's family. Praying for God's peace and comfort for all of you.

I remember in the early 70's when he won custody of his beautiful daughter Monica Silvas. Back then for a father to get custody of a child much less a daughter was un heard of. He worked so hard to take care and provide for his daughter. It wasn't always easy but they both worked hard to make it work. I had the up most respect for him stepping up to the plate to take care of his daughter. Monica knew she had a great Dad. They provided us with so many wonderful memories. I will truly miss you brother. I lov u Mija (Monica Osbourne Silvas)

Anyone who knew Tudy has great memories of him. His smile was contagious and so was his kindness. He could light up a room. I can only imagine how much joy he brought to his family. I look forward to seeing you again dear friend. My heart goes out to his family as they grieve.

I always loved Art and have thought of him often over the years. When we all got together my kids and Rafe and Georgia were so tall that Art would walk on the raised brick flower box and just laugh because he was then the tallest. He was so fun - we did not call him Art the _art for nothing!! He will be missed and remembered forever. RIP Tudy. Monica, you were a beautiful and loving little girl that I have not seen since you were about 6. I pray for your strength and faith to help you through this sad time. My sincere sympathy to your family.

I have many wonderful memories of Tudy but one of my favorites is when we all went to Northpark theater to see a movie which was packed full. It was during a very serious and quiet scene where you could hear a pin drop and Art got tickled and started laughing historically and could not stop. As his tee-hee tee-hee echoed through the entire theater the whole place begin to forget about the movie on screen and began to laugh at him and his uncontrollable laughter!! The entire theater was cracking up at him. The joy and laughter he brought to a room!! My nickname was Georgie Porgie Puddin Pie and my moms was Claudeis Claudeis Claudeis. I also remember when Monica was doing her usual sleepwalking her Dad would scream Monica wake up your freaking me out!! We love you Tudy! You will be forever missed and in our hearts!!❤️
