Asher Lee Rayburn, age 4, of Paris, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 8th at Covenant Christian Church, 3055 Loop 286 SE, Paris, TX 75460, with Rev. Diana Russell officiating. Private burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Asher was born July 6, 2018, in Paris, Texas. He attended Chisum Elementary School and Sunday school at Covenant Christian Church. Asher was active in sports and played two years with the Paris Optimist Baseball on the Cubs team. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Sonia Sabastian and Andrew Lee Rayburn, and great grandparents, Bobby Dean Rayburn and Beatrice Prater. Survivors include his mother, Candus Lynette Booth, his father, Matthew Lee Rayburn, siblings, Trip Lee Rayburn, Creed Alexander Horn, and Brock Wayne Booth, grandparents, Regina and Angel Fernandez, Jerry Wayne Booth, and Barbara Houston, great-grandparents, Anna Bouse, Orvel & Lynn Prater, Bill Esker, and Wanda Esker, aunts & uncles, Vanessa & Kelly Sadler, Amber & Damon Williams, Jackie Rayburn, Lily Rayburn, and Chaz & Janci Booth, along with numerous cousins and a host of friends. Casket bearers will be: Chaz Booth, Jerry Booth, Damon Williams, and Kelly Sadler.
