Barbara Sue Adams, 90, of Reno, passed away Friday, November 7, 2025, at Paris Regional Health. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11th at Meadowbrook Gardens with Bro. Chris King officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, Nov 10th, from 6-7 p.m. Ms. Adams, the daughter of Leonard Beard & Lillian Stacks Beard, was born November 23, 1934, in Hugo, OK. She worked at Welch’s Art Gallery, which was a pleasure to her as she was an artist and loved art. An enjoyment in her life was singing and music. Her career with Gibson’s, which later became Howard’s, spanned many years. She was a member of Lamar Avenue Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Gary Dean Adams, on June 7, 1976. Survivors include two children, Richard Adams & wife Ann and Kathy Daniels & husband Joe, grandchildren, Tonya Jackson & husband Kyle, Jessica Manson & husband Hank, Lindsey Bridgers & husband Johnathan, Sheridie Dyess & husband Jason, Kimberly Daniels, and Joshua Daniels & wife Tanissa, great grandchildren, Hannah Jackson, Henry Manson, Richard Manson, Rex Bridgers, Conway Bridgers, Jewel Bridgers, Gibson Dyess, Brody Dyess, Payden Daniels, Alexis Daniels, Maggie Daniels, Jensen Fisher, Jax Fisher, and Nevaeh Daniels, three siblings, Kenneth Beard, Don Beard, and Linda Weber & husband Steve along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
Honorary casket bearers will be: Rex Bridgers, Gibson Dyess, Brody Dyess, Jason Dyess, Payden Daniels, and Joshua Daniels.
