Barbara Crum, 82, of Deport, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at her home. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home. Mrs. Crum, the daughter of Paul F. & Marjorie Bryan Jackson, was born in Houston. While living in Wyoming she owned and operated a Quarter Horse ranch. She moved to Lamar County in 2012, and continued her Quarter Horse operation. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles J. Crum in May of 2007. Survivors include her son, Bryan Meredith of Deport, a half-brother, Bob Jackson of Michigan City, IN and a brother-in-law, William Crum South Bend, IN.
