She was born on December 12, 1947, to Llyod and Bonnie Herron in Paris, TX. Bettye was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Paris. She was married to the late Aurthur Wayne Jackson.
Bettye was a devoted daughter and sister. She had no children but was loved by many family members. Bettye is survived by her sister, Wanda Barnett, sisters-in-law, Norma Renfro and Linda Cato and many loving nieces and nephews.
Bettye was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Paula Howard and Emma Lloyd Thielman and sister-in-law, Pat Toppings.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 21 at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Pastor Jane Els officiating. Private interment will be made at Meadowbrook Gardens.
