Billy Mack Lester

Billy Mack Lester, 58, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015, in Paris, Texas. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 25th, at Hopewell Cemetery with Rev. Mike Atkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Lester, the son of Mack Lester, Sr. & Geneva Spencer Lester, was born April 14, 1956, in Paris. On Oct. 7, 1989, Billy married the love of his life, Betty Darlene Flynn. He spent his life working as a self-employed truck driver and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends when not on the road. Survivors include his wife, Darlene, children, William, Geneva, Debbie, Felicia, Mandy, Scooter and Ashley, sisters, Becky and Nancy, as well as thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren who lovingly referred to him as “Poppa”. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lester was preceded in death by two siblings, Martha Sue Harrington and Tony James Lester. Casket bearers will be: “Red” Cooper, George Hignight, Ed Cooper, Casey Davis, Billy Joe Flynn, Timmy Lester, Jim Lester, Rickey Sisson, Gary Sessums and Terry Sessums.
